It will be a shame to lose out on that, but the draw of AE isn't strong enough to get me to install Win 10.

The only Adobe program I genuinely think goes from strength to strength is After Effects, with very worthwhile and useful new features being added in each release. The only feature I'd genuinely miss about CC is Photoshop's 'Preserve Details 2.0' scaling, which is useful, though I can replace it with the good old PhotoZoom plugin. On one Windows PC (OS8.1) it runs normally, but it is set up for not using the graphic card (Use Graphics Hardware checkbox is clear), and sniffer.exe is supposed to disable that anyway if its a problem.

ID has improved very little, while Premiere Pro just seems to get worse all the time and I'm so sick of it that I'm likely going to move to DaVinci Resolve (which does run in Linux). I have two licensed copies of CC 2015, thus two copies of PS 2015. Nothing on my wishlist has been implemented yet.

All the latest updates as well as Adobe CC updates have been installed. They have a Dell M4800 laptop with 32 GB of RAM. I was able to check event viewer and found this. This can happen when trying to revise text or just scrolling through the file. The GUIs were much nicer, with *vastly* more tolerable splash screens. Adobe InDesign CC is continuing to crash at random times. Photoshop works fine, Illustrator seems to open ok athough not used, but InDesign and Audio wont - 7585160. Everything seemed much more stable and less buggy back then. So have installed CC on a second device, as licence allows. To be fair, I was quite happy with Creative Suite. Adobe can’t help, because they don’t support installations in a virtual machine: my 64-bit Windows 7 is a VM on my Mac. I do have a choice - I'll stick with old verisons, even if that means permanently sticking with CS6 from 2012. However the page's name says '2020' and not '2021' what it should if it is showing specs for version 16.0. Prior to September we were using InDesign 2015 CC with Windows 7 圆4 and everything was working perfectly. I could go on to the minimum requirements for version 14.0 ( InDesign 2019 ) which still supports Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) with Service Pack 1:īut if I use the link for version 15.0 ( InDesign 2020 ) I seem to land on a page where the minimum requirements are listed for version 16.0: If I start from here to see into the minimum system requirements for earlier versions of InDesign: I think there is an error in the help pages of InDesign.
